The Surgical Experimentation Area is located on floor -1 of the Faculty, with very easy interior access via a large lift or stairs, and also with an entrance from the street. It is an open-plan space of 120 m2, which can be adapted to any type of activity, such as, for example, the installation of 60 Pelvitrainer laparoscopic surgery learning equipment or a Da Vinci robotised surgical system.

Some available equipment:

• Four complete stations for laparoscopic surgery, controlled from a central computer (MultiConsolasCX. S-Cape). With the possibility of streaming to any part of the world through different channels.
  • High definition surgical monitor tower (FST).
  • Full HD video recorder (SONY).
  • State-of-the-art electrosurgery unit (ValleyLab FT10. Medtronic Covidien).
  • High capacity CO2 insufflator (F104. Medtronic Covidien).
  • Cold light source (LED200) with ULTRA HD laparoscopic camera system (FLEXVISION10. Medtronic).
  • Auxiliary surgical monitor (FST).
  • Latest generation zenithal surgical articulated light (XLed. Steris).
